Ellice is Inuvialuk, and she's worked inside Indigenous organizations and a provincial legislature, and sat on Northern boards. She knows how much rides on getting people and governance decisions right, and that no two Indigenous governments are built the same, from band councils to self-governing Nations to regional and community corporations.

Every Nation is its own place, with its own history and its own way of doing things. We don’t arrive assuming we know yours. We arrive already understanding why that matters.
